Our Philosophy

In contrast to the man-centered philosophy of modern education, Masters Regional Academy believes that all truth must be seen from a God-centered perspective. Since "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge" (Proverbs 1:7), we believe in the existence of God, the creation of both the world and man by God, and consequently, man's responsibility to acknowledge God's supreme authority in all moral matters. God himself is the source of all truth and has revealed it to man both through Scripture and through His Son, Jesus Christ.

It is our conviction that the academic truths of life need to be learned within the context of spiritual and moral truths, and it is within the structure of such a balanced education that real purposeful living is attained. Such living is viewed as being for both now and for eternity.

Knowing that no one is good and that all have fallen short of God's righteous standard through sin, we see the role of education as one which includes confronting the fallen nature of man and directing one back to God for restoration and to God's Word for instruction. We believe that the process of successfully comprehending, communicating and applying truth is dependent upon the regeneration of man through faith in Jesus Christ.
